Growegy

Web App 1.0

Growegy is a collaboration hub designed to guide marketing teams in running high-effective campaigns to achieve sales revenue targets. It integrates a marketing calendar, various visualisation views, data from other marketing and sales tools, and performance results, offering recommendations to attain company goals.

I joined Growegy when the product was in the closed alpha stage for selected customers. My task was to refresh the visual identity and improve the product design while completing the remaining features we agreed upon for the launch. After 8 months of part-time work on the project, our small team successfully launched Growegy 1.0 on Product Hunt.

Refreshed visual identity

I began my work on the project with a refresh of the visual identity. The new direction was dictated by the nature of our tool. Since our users deal with a lot of information per screen when interacting with Growegy, I aimed for this experience to feel and look as light as possible. I quickly drafted this visual direction, and everyone on the team loved this modern look, so it became a cornerstone in our app design.

Onboarding

Staring at a blank tool when you don't know where to start can be intimidating for new users. Therefore, we decided to implement an onboarding flow to help our customers successfully adopt our solution. We aimed to be as concise and helpful as possible, swiftly teaching customers some initial concepts of Growegy and assisting them in importing their existing data from other tools.

Calendar View

This was the most challenging aspect of the product design to get right. Since the Calendar View is information-heavy, I spent a lot of time tweaking this layout to achieve a 'lightweight' look and feel.

Analytics

For the launch, we decided to cut some initial ideas and launch this simplified version of Analytics, making sure our users still have all the important graphs they need to optimise their marketing campaigns.

Launch on Product Hunt

This was the most rewarding part of the project. The response from the Product Hunt community was overwhelming, and we received a highly positive reaction to our tool and its design :)
